Safety
Whether it be our neighbors excersising, our kids waiting for the bus or Fido out for the morning stroll, please be safe during those dark morning and evening hours. There have been a couple of “close calls” with pedestrians and drivers in the last few weeks.
Walkers and joggers, please do your part. Use the sidewalks whenever possible and wear bright colored or reflective exercise clothing to improve your visibility.
Drivers, please take extra caution as you move your way through the neigborhood during these hours.
Have a safe Holiday Season.
Remember, if you are traveling, our Neighborhood patrol will do free house checks while you are gone. Call Geist Neighborhood Patrol for further information. 432-3835

Please join your HOA Board at the next meeting on Wednesday January 18th. We will meet at 7pm at Geist Christian Church (86th & Mud Creek).

Thank You!
Below is a message from Lee & Monna Leiter, the couple that lost their
entire home on 97th Street to fire last December.
We sincerely want to thank everyone in the Moorings for all of your concern,
thoughtfulness and help you offered in our time of need. We truly appreciate
Moorings Village for collecting all of the gift cards, money, clothes and
household furnishings. It was and is a wonderful thing to have such caring
and wonderful people to surround us in this devastating time in our lives.
We are getting closer to the completion of our new home and hopefully will
be able to move in by years’ end.
We cannot thank you enough, but we can try, and we want you all to know that we will remember all of you forever.
